Beauty in bandages in Belgium
Thanks to Jan De Reu for spotting this wounded soldier and thanks
for more details on this car ... "Story`s go that this car was the
Torino Saloon show car in 1953 and raced in Canada in 1955 among
many other races such as the 15 May 1955 Cumberland races.
We would like to ask your readers if anyone has a picture of this
car racing at 1955 Sebring with start number 100!" The car is
currently undertaking a full restoration and will go back to its
original livery. You will see it back on track again soon!"
Is this the best UK-based sleeping beauty ever?
Arguably the best sleeping beauty ever discovered in the UK was this
1937 Bugatti Type 575 Atalante discovered in a doctor's garage in
Newcastle in January 2009 where it had lain virtually untouched since
doctor Harold Carr bought it in 1955 for £895. Watch the newsclip on
YouTube as the car's discovery and £4m valuation was announced

Last on the road around 94-95 after being carefully looked after, from new, by my grandad!" Books that might be useful: here and here and here

Beauty blending in with the woods
This car is so far in the woods there is no way to figure out how it was able to get that far in, says Jesse of http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/ But he describes it as his favourite abandoned car shot, and he's taken quite a few. Thanks for that Jesse.
Beauty in the garage
Thanks to Paul Axworthy for this shot of a 1971 series IIa military Land Rover, which was retired to a garage after finding too many problems to fix, now bought, fixed and driving again.
And here she is wide awake in the snow last month.
